SKILL DAMAGE BUILD

This build is designed for players who struggle with legendary missions. You can enable directives and still enjoy a positive experience.

I suggest using the Striker Drone and Assault Turret as primary abilities. By deploying these skills strategically to confront enemies from a safe distance, you can turn on the Pistolero Directive without any issues, as these skills have unlimited ammunition. These abilities help draw enemy attention away from you. Additionally, boosting their health and duration guarantees their strength and endurance in the face of enemy attacks. For maximum efficiency, it is recommended to position the turret strategically, ideally in elevated spots for improved targeting precision.

Additionally, you still have your weapons; I have ensured that each weapon serves a purpose and can be utilized to enhance your skills' damage output.

There is a maximum explosive resistance of 90%, as there is a cap preventing it from reaching 100%. Nevertheless, this feature functions effectively, providing protection against explosives and allowing you to disregard explosive drones. Additionally, Sawyer's exotic kneepads are utilized to prevent being staggered by explosions.

MAIN FEATURES

  • High Skill Damage

  • 90% Explosive Resistance (ER Cap)

  • High Skill Health

  • High Skill Duration

WHERE TO FARM GEAR AND WHY

Gear

All gear can be farmed in Countdown or The Summit using targeted loot. Sometimes, you can also purchase them from a vendor. Weapons are more difficult to obtain, especially the Harmony Rifle.

The Capacitor

This exotic assault rifle is available in The Summit only, as it is a guaranteed drop after completing five challenges. You can complete challenges on Normal difficulty to finish them faster.

The Capacitor serves as the primary weapon, enhancing skill damage by 60%. However, if you are using directives and find yourself low on ammo, switch to The Harmony Rifle.

The Harmony Rifle

The Harmony Rifle is a variant of the Resolute Mk47 and can be obtained from Conflict, Legacy, Named Item Caches, or by focusing on rifle-targeted loot in the Dark Zone. Occasionally, you may also find the Harmony Rifle for sale at the Countdown Requisition Station. If you have the blueprint from the Descent mode, you can craft it as well.

This rifle is equipped with the Perfectly in Sync talent, providing a 40% skill damage boost when both weapons are out of ammo. If you are unable to replenish ammo, switch to a sidearm with the In Sync talent, which can be any high-end pistol of your choice as long as it has the In Sync talent.

Sidearm

For the sidearm, you can use any high-end sidearm, as long as it has the talent In-Sync. This talent provides a 30% skill damage boost to your skills. If you're using the Pistolero directive, having this talent on your sidearm is essential when running a skill build.

RECOMMENDED SPECIALIZATION

Technician

I recommend this specialization mainly because of the Overclocked CPU passive talent, which increases damage by +10.0%. Additionally, there is another talent called Dismantling that provides +12% damage against drones, skill proxies, and robotics. This specialization is also effective against Warhounds and healing stations with EMP grenades that can temporarily disable them. If you require more damage for your Assault Turret, you can make use of the Artificer Hive.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS

I recommend using the Assault Turret and Striker Drone for this build, as it is specifically designed around these skills. Both should be used together to quickly take down Warhounds and Chungus.

For Elites and lower-level enemies, you can use the skills separately, but when dealing with Warhounds and Chungus, use both skills for maximum damage. Of course, your damage may vary depending on your Expertise level and whether you're running the exact same build or a variant of it.

Damage numbers don't include the damage boosts from the weapons just gear.

Assault Turret

The Assault Turret is the main skill, dealing the highest damage, but it is limited to one location and needs to be manually repositioned. The Striker Drone, on the other hand, flies by itself. The Turret shines when placed in an elevated position, allowing it to target more NPCs. It has around 6.5 million health and can last for 5 minutes, with a damage output of 112K.

Striker Drone

Striker Drone fly's by itself and can overcome obstacles and fly far to kill NPCs in the back even if they in cover but has lower damage 70K. Striker Drone has around 3.3 million health and also lasts 5 minutes.
